Free parking is available at Prospect Road Community Centre. Additional street parking is available on nearby roads. We recommend carpooling or using public transit when possible. The venue is accessible via Halifax Transit Route 4.

Yes! Prospect Road Community Centre is fully wheelchair accessible with ramps, elevators, and accessible washrooms. Priority seating is available at all panels. If you require any special accommodations, please email us at accessibility@pokekonfest.com at least one week before the event.

Absolutely! PokeKon-Fest Halifax is an all-ages, family-friendly event. Children under 11 receive discounted tickets ($10). Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. We have activities and panels suitable for all age groups.

Costumes are encouraged! Prop weapons must be peace-bonded at our security check-in. All props must be made of foam, cardboard, or other soft materials - no metal or hard materials allowed. Props cannot exceed 6 feet in length. Realistic-looking firearms (even toys) are strictly prohibited. Our staff reserves the right to refuse entry to any costume deemed inappropriate or unsafe.

All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. In the unlikely event of event cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control, full refunds will be issued within 14 business days. We do not offer refunds for individual scheduling conflicts or inability to attend.

Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. The venue has a concession stand offering snacks and drinks. Several nearby restaurants are within walking distance for lunch breaks. Please dispose of all trash responsibly and help us keep the venue clean.

Personal photography and video recording are allowed throughout the event. Please be respectful and ask for permission before photographing other attendees or their costumes. Flash photography is prohibited during panel presentations. Commercial photography requires prior authorization.

Yes! Same-day re-entry is permitted. Please keep your wristband on and show it at the entrance when returning. Wristbands must remain intact - damaged or removed wristbands will not be honored for re-entry.
